This privacy policy explains how Big Horn Dental Clinic (“we,” “us”) collects, uses and protects information through DentistGillette.com (the “website”). It applies only to this website.
Information You Give Us
When you use our contact form, we collect the information you enter: your name, phone number, email address and any message you write. We use it only to respond to your request and to schedule or follow up on your care.
Please do not submit medical history or other personal health information through the website. Information you share with us as a patient at our office is protected under federal health privacy law (HIPAA) and our Notice of Privacy Practices, which is available at our office.
Information Collected Automatically
- Website analytics. We use Plausible Analytics to understand how visitors use the website in aggregate (for example, which pages are viewed). Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect personal information.
- Spam protection. Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated spam. Turnstile may process technical information about your browser and device to confirm you are a person.
- Call tracking. If you arrive at the website from an online advertisement, the website may show a different phone number so we can measure which advertising leads to calls. This uses your browser’s session storage and does not identify you. Calls to our numbers are routed to our office through a call-tracking service, which records basic call information such as the calling number, date and duration.
- Server logs. Our hosting and security providers keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to operate and protect the website.
How We Share Information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate the website and respond to your requests, such as our website host, security provider and the systems our team uses to receive contact requests, and only for those purposes. We may also disclose information when required by law.
Third-Party Services and Links
Our contact page includes an embedded Google Map, and the website links to other sites such as Google and Facebook for reviews. Those services have their own privacy policies, and Google may set cookies when the map loads. We are not responsible for the practices of other websites.
Data Security and Retention
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information you submit, and we keep it only as long as needed to respond to you and to meet our legal and business obligations. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Children’s Privacy
The website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through it. Parents or guardians who wish to contact us about a child’s care should call our office.
